We don’t teach entrepreneurial traits to kids – we need to figure out how to encourage that spirit of innovation and invention. This TED talk by Cameron Herold talks about how we medicate kids with attention deficit disorder and hyperactivity when that is precisely what many entrepreneurs demonstrate. Every child should be encouraged to create businesses and become self-employed to solve problems. They should be prohibited from having traditional jobs and discouraged from being “hired” to do work.
