Search Engine Simulator
How Search Engines See Your Pages, Links & Keyword Density
If you'd like to see what search engines see of any web page,
you can use The WebSite101 Search
Engine Simulator, which shows what a search engine spider
sees when it visits your page. The result is displayed in text
below after you click the "Scan Now" button.
The resulting page shows the information you've requested by
selecting the check boxes for options you would like to see.
This represents how a search engine spider sees the page you
enter the address for (domain name and page filename). Scan
through it and you'll recognize the text from the page you chose.
It's very different compared to the graphic laden pages you
normally see on your screen! This simulator removes images and
javascript links and shows you only text and meta data that
search engines can read. No flash movies, no logos, no graphics,
no background images or colors matter to search engine spiders.
Text and keyword density are all that matter to search engines.
Try it once without checking any of the tickboxes to see only
the text from the page reproduced below on this page. Then view
any of the additional options by checking of the additional
options boxes to view
