Innovation: This new Honda Unicycle concept is called “U3-X Personal Mobility Prototype” and though it seems improbable – looks incredible in this demo video. The work on this amazing device comes from Honda Robotics. The video shows an almost unbelievable ability for the thing to balance itself upright and easily transport someone in a seated position. It’s all controlled by leaning in the direction you want to go, much like the Segway, but on only one wheel.

The “wheel” is actually dozens of wheels, which allows it to move sideways when the smaller wheels rotate and forward when the larger diameter wheel rotates.
