The incredible utility and value of the web can be seen during disasters such as the current aftermath of the Tsunami that devastated Northern Japan last week following the nearly unbelievable 8.9 earthquake. Google has released their “Person Finder” App seen below. It can be embedded by bloggers who wish to contribute to helping Tsunami and Quake victims looking for loved ones. Making this app available is admirable, but making it embeddable could help someone who might otherwise miss it – simply because it can be included in many more web sites and blogs.
